About Me
Hey, I'm Rainey Von Ahnen, the founder of Rainey Days Skating, I started RDS as a way to track my progress as a figure skater and share my experience in the sport. It's transformed into a larger project since then, gladly so. I knew I loved skating from the first time I went to public skate in 2019, and I continued to go almost every day the rest of that summer. I've always loved art, dance, and music. To me figure skating seemed like the piece of art I was missing. The perfect balance between expression and challenging my physical strength. I've loved the sport ever since that summer. I began intern coaching a few months later, sharing my love of the sport as soon as I could. I can't wait to see where else this journey might lead -- I hope you tag along with me!
